Foundation brand founder Nick Melillo selected a dark and oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a hearty a San Andrés binder with long-fillers from Estelí, Jalapa, and Honduras tucked inside when he was assembling ingredients for The Tabernacle. Robust notes of wood, cocoa, leather, and pepper precede a sweet and lingering finish with loads of smoky aroma. The critics in Cigar Aficionado rated The Tabernacle 90 points following its debut.
