Cedrus gets its name from the type of wood cigar boxes are made from, Cedrus libani, which imparts a desirable flavor and aroma when cigars age in cedar boxes. An oily Indonesia wrapper leaf covers an eventful blend of long-filler tobaccos, including Dominican Piloto Cubano, Nicaraguan Criollo ’98, Nicaraguan Habano ’92, and Nicaraguan Corojo ’99. A consistent profile of coffee bean, leather, toffee, caramel, and spices earned a 91-point rating from the critics in Cigar Aficionado.
