Davidoff Nicaragua cigars are handmade in the Dominican Republic in a collection of classic sizes, but the tobaccos are exclusively from Nicaragua, inside and out. An oily Nicaraguan Rosado wrapper leaf, grown from Cuban seeds and aged for a decade, harbors a nutty binder from Jalapa and premium long-fillers harvested in Estelí, Condega, and Ometepe. Tasting notes of walnut, maple, and nutmeg unfold with hints of moss and toast throughout a medium-bodied finish. Davidoff Nicaragua cigars scored 95 points and a ‘Top 5’ ranking from Cigar Aficionado in 2022. Davidoff cigars aren’t cheap, but when you’re feeling spendy, taste the brand’s first take on Nicaraguan tobaccos with this high-end blend.
