Cohiba
Cohiba cigars represent one of the best-known Cuban-legacy brands in the world. Cohiba was originally conceived in Cuba as a personal blend for Fidel Castro in 1965. Today, Cohiba cigars sold in the U.S. are made in the Dominican Republic or Nicaragua. The original Dominican-made Cohiba, also called Red Dot Cohiba, is blended from a reddish-brown Cameroon wrapper leaf, an Indonesian binder, and Dominican long-filler tobaccos at the center. Tasting notes of cocoa, white pepper, cedar, and earth mingle with hints of cinnamon and nuts throughout a medium-bodied smoke in a collection of popular sizes.
