Back in 2008, Casa Magna surfaced from relative obscurity to score a not only 93-point rating in Cigar Aficionado, but also the publication’s ‘#1 Cigar of the Year’ title. Blended by Manolo Quesada and Nestor Plascencia, the feat was nonetheless impressive, especially considering the relative inexpensiveness of the brand. Take a page from the annals of former award-winning cigars and give an old champ a try that was blended from an all-Nicaraguan recipe of full-bodied tobaccos that boast notes of cedar, spices, and coffee beans with a sweet and earthy finish.
